What do the button on the result page do?
Search results may contain one or more of the following buttons across the top of the page:
- Agent Jump to the search page for the agent that matched this search
- Interface Jump to the search page for the interface that matched this search
- Host Jump to the search page for the address or host that matched this search
- Protocol Jump to the search page for the protocol that matched this search
- ASN Jump to the search page for the BGP AS number that matched this search
- ASPath Jump to the search page for the BGP AS path that matched this search
What search patterns can I use?
The following search types are recognized:
- DNS, example inmon.com
- IP, example 10.1.2.3
- IPv6, example FEDC:BA98:7654:3210:FEDC:BA98:7654:3210
- MAC, example 0010AB01CC
- Protocol, example TCP:ssh
- AS-Path, example 701-1849
- Interface, example 10.1.1.254>23
- Wildcard-pattern (glob), example wan*
When the search pattern does not clearly indicate a single entity then a list of possible matches is offered.
